Our thoughts are a major reason we fail to get desired results. Yet, few individuals know how to improve the functioning of their most important asset -- their self-talk. They never learned the long known techniques from psychology and Buddhism that improve thought and individual performance.

Your mind is like a garden. But rather than growing beautiful flowers, the winds of thought instead carry the seeds of weeds. Rather than seeing something beautiful, you have a tangled mess. But you can clear the weeds by using self-talk.

This class focuses on how to better use your self-talk to cultivate thought patterns that motivate better results.

Discover the boundless power of your mind and nurture positivity through the mastery of self-talk. Our meticulously designed course reveals the path to harness the influence of your thoughts, opening the gateway to exponential personal and professional growth.

You will want to come up with your focus of application. One text used is Napolean Hills, "Think and Grow Rich." OR you you can read sections of Norman Vincent Peal's "The Power of Positive Thinking." These are timeless classics — they keep getting reprinted since first coming out last century. Find out the reasons why millions continue to read them.

All of our programs come with a money back guarantee.

Description

Our unskilled use of self-talk is a major reason why the mind is so immature, so weak, so ineffective. It's like your mind is a garden. a) Practice both how to recognize and diminish the impact of negative beliefs and self-talk; and

b) Create your own affirmations and make them more powerful.

  • Understand the nature and importance of self-talk.

Module 1: Harnessing Self-Talk For Personal Growth

Just as a garden blooms under the watchful eye of a diligent gardener, your mind thrives under the nurturing influence of positive self-talk. This module explores the fundamental principles of cognitive psychology, emphasizing the essential role of self-talk in shaping our mental narratives.

Still, cognition is a complex topic. But rather than look at all elements of cognition, we will focus only on what can be done to improve thinking. It's unfortunate that the right and proper way to use self-talk is not commonly known.

It's like having a powerful engine in a high performance vehicle and then not putting any gas in the tank. This section starts with some basic methods that help linking in general. It introduces techniques such as:

  1. Mindful Observation: Learning to consciously observe and assess the nature of your self-talk. This practice cultivates awareness and lays the groundwork for improvement.

  2. Self-Compassionate Language: Replacing negative self-judgment with kind, compassionate words. Self-compassion serves as the fertile soil where the seeds of positive self-talk can flourish.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the nature and importance of self-talk.
  • Identify the downside of negative thinking and the upside of positive thinking.
  • Discover how to better monitor your self-talk.

Module 2: Counteracting Negative Self-Talk

"Those who have emotional problems engage in negative self-talk about 50 percent of the time." -- R. M. Schwartz

Evelyn De Morgan: Hope in the Prison of Despair

Pull The Weeds In the Garden of Your Mind. Periodically, all of us must engage in “weed pulling” to diminish the impact of negative thoughts and thinking. Negative self-talk, if left unchecked, can become the overgrown weeds of your mental garden, choking the life out of budding positivity.

Knowledge and Understanding

  • Identify the major limiting beliefs that keep you from being more successful
  • Recognize the different types of negative self-talk
  • Know how you can diminish the impact of limiting beliefs

Skill Building Practice

  • Practice four methods designed to decrease negative self-talk. This module introduces techniques to combat this, such as:
  1. Negative Thought Logging: Keeping a record of negative self-talk to identify patterns and triggers, facilitating more targeted and effective interventions.

  2. Thought Stopping: A psychological technique that involves consciously saying "Stop" when you catch yourself engaging in negative self-talk, thereby disrupting the negative thought cycle.

Module 3: Amplifying Positive Self-Talk

Cultivate the Flowers. Besides cleaning out the weeds in your mental garden, it’s important to nurture the flowers. These are the empowering beliefs and thoughts that we need to have positive expectations of the future. And to do that, we must understand and practice positive self-talk.

This module lays emphasis on sowing and nurturing the seeds of empowering beliefs and positive thoughts. To amplify the power of positive self-talk, we explore techniques like:

  1. Affirmation Crafting: Constructing and regularly reciting positive affirmations, which serve as the life-giving sunlight to the flowers of your mental garden.

  2. Visualizing Success: Using the power of imagination to visualize success, thereby enhancing positive expectations for the future and fostering a growth mindset.

This includes learning how to think positively and constructing helpful affirmations.

Knowledge and Understanding

  • Discover a set of affirmations own that you can employ.
  • Find out which makes for a good phrase and what makes for bad one.
  • Discover a set of positive beliefs that form your core based on critical incidents that happened in your life.

Skill Building Practice

  • Develop your own affirmations
  • Know how to mentally strengthen a given affirmation while practicing them.

Module 4: Cognitive Restructuring: Advanced Techniques

The words of British statesman Benjamin Disraeli, "Nurture your mind with great thoughts, for you will never go any higher than you think," embody the core essence of our course. Your mind, like a fertile garden, is at the mercy of the seeds of thought you sow - positivity or negativity.

These errors reside in every day thinking, the kind of words we use in normal conversation and rarely delve deep into really understanding if they are true or not.

Moving deeper into the realm of cognitive processes, this advanced module guides you through the labyrinth of cognitive restructuring techniques, such as:

    1. Cognitive Reframing: Learning to identify and challenge irrational or negative beliefs, then reframing them into more positive and realistic thoughts.

    2. Socratic Questioning: A powerful technique that involves self-questioning to expose cognitive distortions and irrational beliefs, thereby promoting clearer thinking and problem-solving.

This section is for the advanced tools—the techniques that help you to understand when you're thinking and logic is not where it should be. This errors are subtle, though.

    • The Mystery of Setting Good Intentions
